How to redeem a gift voucher

This will be useful if: 

You are a Learner User of the EzLicence booking platform.

You are trying to: 

Redeem a gift voucher.

Overview:

When a driving lesson gift voucher is purchased, there are three different delivery options to choose from:

1. Delivery by email
2. Delivery via SMS
3. Printed voucher (QR code)

The redemption process will depend on which option was selected. See below for further information on each.

All options will direct you to our website, from there you can either:

• Create a new learner account - use the instructor search tool to choose an instructor in your area. Once you have found your perfect instructor, simply click Book Online Now. You will need to create your learner account, once the account is created the credit will be automatically added to your EzLicence wallet and ready to book.
• Log in to an existing learner account - you can simply log in and the credit will automatically be applied.

Option 1 - Delivery by Email

The gift voucher will be sent via email directly to the recipient. Within the body of the email, there will be a 'redeem now' button. See example below:

When you click Redeem Now, you will be linked to our website.

Please note:. The learner must receive the original email. If the person giving the voucher has printed the email, they will need to forward the original email to the recipient to enable them to redeem the gift voucher using the unique URL provided in the email.

Option 2 - Delivery via SMS

The gift voucher will be sent via SMS (text) message. The SMS message contains a link that will direct the learner to our website.

Option 3 - Printed voucher (QR code)

A printed gift voucher will include a QR code. To redeem the gift voucher, this code must be scanned by the QR reader app on your mobile phone. Please see the example below:
