Understanding your EzLicence wallet.
Overview:
Your EzLicence wallet makes managing your payments and bookings easy and convenient. Here’s how it works:
- Adding Funds: You can add credit to your wallet at any time using your preferred payment method.
- Using the Wallet: When you book, the price for the booking will automatically be deducted from your wallet balance.
- Top-Ups: If your wallet doesn't have enough credit, you can top it up before confirming a booking.
- Reversals: Any eligible reversals from a cancellation will go back into your wallet, ready for future use.
- Checking Your Balance: You can always view your wallet balance and transaction history through your account.
The wallet system ensures faster bookings and fewer payment hassles—so you can focus on learning to drive!
Wallet Usage Details
What price will I pay?
The amount deducted from your wallet will reflect the instructor’s price at the time you made your booking. The good news is that even if the instructor’s price increases later, you’ve locked in the lower rate! While there may be times when an instructor lowers their price after your booking, rest assured that your payment will stay the same as the amount you originally secured—providing you with consistency and peace of mind.
First In, First Out (FIFO) Rule
Our wallet system follows the First In, First Out (FIFO) rule. This means that the oldest credits in your wallet will be used first for payments. By automatically using your earliest credits, we help ensure that nothing goes to waste and you stay on top of your balance efficiently.
Bonus Credits
If you are eligible for a discount, this will be applied as bonus credits added to your wallet.
Example:
- The instructor’s price is $100 per hour
- You purchase 10 hours with a 10% discount
- You pay $900, and $100 is added to your wallet as bonus credit
When making bookings, both cash and bonus credits are used proportionately.
Example:
- For a booking priced at $100 per hour, $90 will be deducted from your cash balance, and $10 from your bonus credit balance.
This ensures you get the full benefit of your discount with each booking!
If you’ve received bonus credits as part of a promotion or discount, please note that only the cash amount you added to your wallet can be refunded. Bonus credits are non-refundable and meant to be used toward future bookings. This way, any bonuses you earn stay with you to help make the most of your driving journey!
