You are a Driving Instructor User of the EzLicence booking platform.
You are trying to:
Keep track of your learners and their progress.
Overview:
Sometimes a learner does not show up for their booking, they may have forgotten or had issues on the day.
How to handle a learner 'no show'
In the event that this occurs, please do the following:
- Double check that you are at the address on the booking
- Call the learner. If there is no answer, follow it up with an SMS (double check the phone number)
- If there is another contact on the account, please call them and follow up with an SMS
- Where possible, knock on the front door
If the learner is a no show and you have made an attempt to contact them, you have the option to:
- Leave the pick up address and reverse the fee for the booking, for further information click here or
- Remain at the pick up address and charge the learner for the booking
If you intend to charge the learner for the booking:
Take a photo of your car in front of the pick up address, this may be required if a learner disputes the charge.
There may be instances where the learner arrives 20 minutes late and wishes to do a 40 minute lesson. Please refer to the Driving Instructor Cancellation Policy for further information.
Remember, you are getting paid.
