Action a booking proposal sent by your instructor.
Overview:
At times, you may receive a booking proposal from your instructor. A booking proposal is initiated by your driving instructor to proactively suggest a specific date and time for a driving lesson. There are a few different situations when your driving instructor may send you a booking proposal:
- You need a booking when the instructor is normally closed, but they are happy to help out
- The driving instructor has had a cancellation and can fit you in
- The instructor has needed to reschedule one of your existing bookings
- You are in the middle of your 1 hour booking and you both think an extra hour would be beneficial
When a booking proposal is sent, you will be notified by both email and SMS. Both options will direct you to log in to your learner account. The instructions below are divided into sections on how to:
- Accept a booking proposal
- Decline a booking proposal
- Find a booking proposal
How to accept a booking proposal
Step 1.
If actioning from an email, click the Accept or reschedule → button.
Alternatively, if actioning from an SMS, click the link.
Step 2.
Log in to your learner account.
Step 3.
Review the booking information.
Step 4.
Click ✔️ Confirm Booking button.
You will then be directed to your Dashboard and you should be able to view this new booking in your Upcoming Bookings list.
How to decline a booking proposal
Step 1.
If actioning from an email, click the Accept or reschedule → button.
Alternatively, if actioning from an SMS, click the link.
Step 2.
Log in to your learner account.
Step 3.
Move the toggle in the top right corner to show Decline.
Step 4.
Click x Decline Booking button.
How to find the booking proposal
If at any time you navigate from the proposal screen, you can return to the proposal at any time before it expires. There will be a notification banner at the top of your Dashboard:
Important
Each booking proposal will expire at the booking start time OR after 24hrs from when it was sent (whichever comes first).
Once you complete step 2 above, you will automatically be taken to the booking proposal. If the booking proposal has expired, you will be directed to your Dashboard with an onscreen message:
