Private Learner Fact Sheet

‘Private Learner' means your private learners and EzLicence marketplace learners can all be managed through your EzLicence Dashboard.

For a 2.4% (incl GST) admin fee per booking, give your private learners the same flexible and convenient service that your EzLicence marketplace learners currently enjoy. Use our technology to convert more learners and reduce time spent on communication, payments, bookkeeping and other administration. 

Some important considerations are outlined below:

1. Send an Invitation:
   Use the “Invite Learner” option from your dashboard. Enter the learner (or parent) mobile phone number. We will send them an SMS with a unique link directly to your profile.  You can also access this link via your instructor account under the ‘My Profile & Vehicle’ menu. Share it via the platform of your choice (Facebook, WhatsApp, website etc) to watch your business grow.
2. Phone Number Guarantee:
   If the learner signs up using the invitation, we’ll ensure they cannot register as an EzLicence Marketplace learner using the same phone number. This means you’ll pay the reduced rate of 2.4% per booking.
3. No Guarantee of Link Usage:
   Although we encourage learners to use the invitation link with a follow up SMS, we cannot guarantee they will sign up through it.
4. Cookie Tracking:
   When a learner clicks the invitation link, we’ll attempt to place a cookie on their browser to track their signup for 24 hours. Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee the cookie will function as intended due to factors out of our control, such us - individual device settings, user permissions, or browser behaviour. Inviting via our SMS system is always the easiest way for us to attribute the invitation.
5. Each booking will incur a 2.4% (incl GST) admin fee. This includes 0.65% to cover EzLicence’s administration costs and 1.75% to cover learner card processing.

Disputing Marketplace Service Fees

• If a Learner signs up via the marketplace:
  If you believe a learner who signed up through the Marketplace was initially invited by you, you can dispute the Marketplace service fees. Please lodge a dispute via a support request and provide evidence of your invitation to support your claim.
• Investigation and Resolution:
  We will investigate the situation to find a fair resolution, which may involve reimbursing service fees at the end of the learner’s journey.
