Payout Processing Fees Fact Sheet

At EzLicence, we process all payments for driving instructors and learners.  As part of this service, we pass on the fees associated with payout transactions to the driving instructor. This fee covers the costs of administrative overhead, technological infrastructure maintenance, and compliance with regulatory standards, all of which are essential for ensuring that instructors are paid accurately and on time, every time. 

The seamless and secure handling of payments allows instructors to focus on what they do best - teaching - and provides the learner with confidence that their payments are secure.  As part of our commitment to transparency and clarity, this Fact Sheet explains the details of the payment processing fee and how it impacts you. 

Each payout is subject to:

• Transaction fee of 0.39%
• Admin fee of $0.28

A monthly account fee of $2.20 is applied when a payout is made.

How to calculate your payout processing fees

The payout processing fees will be different depending on the frequency of your payouts. Below is a comparison table, simply locate your approximate monthly payout amount in the first column to compare the fees which will apply to each payout frequency:

Please note, the table above excludes the monthly account fee for comparative purposes. This fee will only apply when you receive your first payout each month. If you do not receive a payout, this fee does not apply.

Below is an example to demonstrate the calculation process.

Example:

Betty earns $500 per fortnight and wants to move her payout frequency to weekly.

Changing to weekly payments will result in weekly payments of $250.

Each week,  Betty will pay 0.39% + $0.28 of her weekly earnings of $250.

$250 x 0.39% = $0.98 

$0.98 + $0.28 = $1.26

In addition to the weekly fee of $1.26, Betty will pay a $2.20 Account Fee in the first payout of each month.
