Punctuality
The number one tip by highly successful driving instructors is to turn up on time for bookings and if you are running late, for example, due to traffic or other unforeseen events, early communication to the learner is critical and advise them of your expected arrival time.
Communicate
It is important to have open communication with your learners both before and during the booking.
During the booking, offer constructive feedback to your learner using positive language. This will encourage them to learn and grow as a driver.
Seek feedback
The best instructors are always looking for ways to improve their teaching methods. One way to do this is to ask your learners for feedback. Gaining this type of feedback will help you process it quickly and make necessary improvements.
Request a review
Each learner who has completed driving lessons with you is able to provide a review. Encourage your learners to provide a review of your teaching by asking them at the end of their first lesson. Our support article can assist them in completing the review process.
